When I’m in Mexico I use jicama but when I’m in Colorado I use purple top turnips. Thin slices of peeled turnip, with chili powder, salt and lime juice. #quickpickle #healthysnack #partyfood 🍜🍽️

I've never tried quick pickling (or even slow pickling) turnips, but I do a sweet and spicy refrigerator pickle on golden beets, so this makes sense.
