I still want to main an orc in TWW no matter what, so there's potential I'll swap to orc mage (or Mag'har orc shadow priest) down the line, but we'll see. I've got a few months to feel it all out.

Anyway, the point of this ramble is just me reflecting on how nice it is to play mage again, which I haven't touched since Legion, really. It all feels so instinctual to me (granted, that may just be because it's a better-designed class than shaman). Not sure if I'll stick with the Nightborne or not

That said, enhancement to me doesn't seem to feel all that different from fury warrior, but I'm not exactly a warrior expert.

Seeing the elemental shaman hero options for TWW has really killed my momentum for shaman, though, and it's made me realize that I don't think I actually like shaman all that much mechanically. I've swapped to enhancement in the meantime and I'm enjoying it a lot more, so that's a plus.

Mage was technically my first class I really dedicated myself to in WoW, and it's been one of my go-to mains, alternating with death knight. But during DF, I swapped to Horde and wanted to be the "orciest orc" without being a warrior or hunter, and I've always loved shaman conceptually.
