Let him exist. Why does he need to take up 3 hours of what is spoken about as the most limited time. The point of normies being vibe based idiots was demonstrated in like 30 mins. everything else was handholding a lazy, willful idiot through parsing his own native language and applying basic logic

The problem is psychologizing for something normative. Just because when persuading people, you have to fight their inner lawyer that they want to be convinced, doesn't mean we should be appreciative of that feature in ourselves.

If you want humans to be better, have them come to know themselves.

I wish people wouldn't be so quick to want bridges burned. His vibes-based approach is idiotic, but at least he sat down for the conversation without any personal attacks. We take what we can get. 😂

To be honest, seeing this conversation reminds me a lot of the conversations I have in real life. None of my friends follow politics intently, but they all vote, and it's purely off of vibes. This conversation is a good template on how to talk to people outside the #dgg / online politics bubble.

Same here. He reminds me a lot of the non-political centrist friends I have that vote. It’s all vibes. That’s why having someone charismatic matters so much. They win over low information voters. I see him as being very valuable to have around as he does represent most voters.

And that's not the worst thing. You don't know what it is that's going to change someone's mind. It could be the simplest thing, or it can be backbreaking. What's important is that people are involved. You get more trees when you plant more seeds, and each of these conversations is just a seed.
