bestie, you got storygraph!? My list is huge, but I'm kinda picky so most of them are gems just waiting to be found
Right now, I'm reading a few things: Baby X by Kira Peikoff, None of This is True by Lisa Jewell, and Never Whistle at Night (it's a short story collection) edited by Shane Hawk
If you want easy/fast and a little dark I just reread A Series of Unfortunate Events and had a great time. Children’s series but it was fun to see the way it matured as the later books came out.
I’ve also been digging Fourth Wing and its sequels. Eragon and its sequels too if you’re into dragons.
Ty!! I think I’ll try fourth wing, my sister kinda discouraged me from it but I’m still intrigued. I do love fantasy/fiction, but I like historical fiction and all kinds of stuff tbh. I’m totally open to YA, I like how it’s paced for my lil adhd brain lol
Historical fiction you might like some books by Amor Towles. Rules of Civility is about a young socialite in New York City in the last year of the Great Depression as she navigates breaking into the city’s upper-class. I really like his book A Gentleman in Moscow too but it’s a tough one to get into
