If you are advocating violence, I'm not in agreement. Answering violence with violence is not helpful and I have strong moral opinions about it. Marching in the street is more my style and I think it is way more effective in the long run in making change happen.

Ok. Fair enough. Sadly, I think this is going to a place where people will have little choice but to engage with violence. It's going to evolve into something like a civil war. That's what I believe, fwiw. They have no problem whatsoever with violence. It's ok to protect yourself, y'know?

I think there could come a time when I would have to make that decision and whether I would protect myself and take a life is a hard moral question for me. Defending others might not be so hard. I don't know.

I understand. It's not something I come to with unbridled joy. I hate that this is where it's going to go. The last thing I want to see is Americans fighting in the streets, but that's what MAGAts want. At least make them realise that any violence against progressives will cost them a lot of blood.
