Man at Arms in 2002 with Oliphant surcoat that I made from an old curtain & crescent moons cut out of pillowcases. Took ages to stitch by hand as I don't have a sewing machine.
My Granny had one with an iron foot pedal in 1970s. It would probable be a valuable antique nowadays.
