I feel like I’m living on a different planet or something. There’s now an actual discussion about invading Greenland in which there’s not even any pretense of a motivation. Once in a while someone will say something about minerals or strategic importance but you can tell they don’t know anything.

It’s horrifying that most of those think pieces don’t bother to note that Denmark, like the U.S., is a founding member of NATO. The U.S. is committed by treaty to *defend* Greenland from unprovoked aggression. Aside from that, the U.S. has had an air base on Greenland since WWII.
