I never go to the movies, but I just bought a ticket to go see Wicked tomorrow afternoon. Gotta support the movie musicals when they happen. (Also... remember when movies were like $5 and you could go all the time? $15 is wild.)

As somebody who read the book years before it was adapted into a musical, and who has never seen the musical but only knows the few big songs, it’s wild learning things about the musical and movie plots now 😂
I never read the book and believe me, when I finally saw the musical my mind was blown. (I've only seen the Wizard of Oz like once, it's not my cup of tea.)
A friend of mine recommended the book and then she saw the musical years later when Joey McIntyre was in it. I read the sequel Son of a Witch when it was first released but honestly do not remember that plot anymore. I liked Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister better, my friend hated that one 😂
