I have a paper and digital subscription to The Economist. However the paper version only arrives one in two weeks and often after I’ve read all I want in the edition. On renewal it’s going to be digital only.

When I phoned up six months ago to ask to switch my sub to digital-only the guy was pretty resigned to it "we put it in the post and it just vanishes" or words to that effect.
I wish I knew. I suspect my copies languish somewhere in the local sorting office and don’t get picked up for delivery. I should care more about it than I do but I’ve taken to reading TE largely on the phone app.
No, please don’t it let put you off. My partner believes that it has a lot to do with staff shortages at our local sorting office where mail just stacks up. She may be right. Your situation may well be very different.
I tend to not get one about twice a year… occasionally a week late, otherwise split 50/50 between Saturday & Monday arrival… but I’m usually reading 1/2 week behind anyhow!
Simon, still waiting for mine although we haven’t yet had today’s delivery. I think things were more reliable when the copy arrived in the see through packaging.

Anyway… it’s arrived this morning 😊
