They’ll never hold right wing politicians to account, because the majority are owned by right wing billionaires, & said billionaires don’t want to share the wealth.

Musk finally broke Twitter but it took a couple of years for him to do it. Even this platform is owned by RW billionaires.
Mr Dorsey is no longer part of the team behind it, having stepped down from the board in May 2024.
He deleted his account altogether in September.
It is now run and predominantly owned by chief executive Jay Graber as a US public benefit corporation.
Public also needs to be a bit more savvy . Critical thought anyone ? Where do you get your "news" ? Apathy is rife . But first, coffee ☕️
We just need a journalistic class that is not from that bubble. Politicians who didn't go to an Ivy League school would probably help too.

Just looked across the Atlantic to what their media just delivered there.
And our media do the best to follow in their footsteps.
Mine just looks at me like I’m the teacher from Charlie Brown, making some sort of incomprehensible noise, and a look on her face like she stepped in something.
Neoliberalism is the superset in which ALL of our seemingly unsolvable problems reside.
Keep in mind that both Parties, and every branch of the US (and UK) government preach and protect Neoliberal Capitalism.
It's a failure of government if any element of democracy malfunctions. That includes the media.
In the UK just about the only functioning element is the independent judiciary within a badly wounded rule of law.
