I cannot fathom how they think taking money away from disabled people will "help them into work". It's going to mean we will be able to work LESS. Without this vital support most disabled people will have poorer health which will worsen their disability.

Also, why cut PIP? There is 0% PIP fraud, and many disabled people can only work BECAUSE of PIP. Make it even harder to get/keep is going to drive disabled people OUT OF WORK, and either onto UC, or into hospital. No money will be saved except by literally killing us.💔

It also prevents growth, as money hoarded at the top doesn't grow an economy, it needs to be redistributed to the bottom where it gets spent in businesses, who can then hire more people, who then spend.
If this was really about economic growth, they'd be taxing the rich to redistribute & grow wealth

Except most of the energy companies are foreign owned (often state-owned/funded) and landlords are often foreign owners, hedge-funds, asset managers or multiple-home-owners who have the renters simply paying their mortgage for a pension-fund.

I'd prefer they stop foreigners being allowed to own >1 property here, along with rent-caps sufficiently below typical mortgage repayment, so buy-to-rent is a LONG term investment, not a short-term fleecing of the bottom 50%.
