We're used to it I guess. I don't hear enough to know precisely what he's saying but based on what I've heard from these types on campus in the past (who I believe were all actually the same guy, though I can't be sure because I never looked at him long enough to memorize his face) he is hateful

rant to no avail. To do that repeatedly must take a toll on the spirit. Is he happy? Does he find joy in these excursions? Or is it more like something he must power through, an endurance test. An endurance test with a payoff can be powerful, but an endurance test with no payoff just wears you down.

Is it a compulsion? Like an OCD sufferer washing their hands repeatedly, knowing they will never feel clean? Does he need mental help? Clinically? Sub-clinically? Is he off his meds? I feel a kinship with this man as much as I feel annoyance at his presence and hatred at what he stands for.
