Pete Hegseth has informed congressional republicans that he wants to fire JCS Chairman CQ Brown (who formerly led the USAF) and the Navy's top admiral, Lisa Franchetti. He has referred to them as "DEI Woke".

Unlike the US Army, the USAF and US Navy have met their recruiting goals.
