Whatever happened in that room was undignified, and smacks of entitlement.
But, it also became a clarion call that catalyzed a much-needed culture change.
Let's keep that our focus. Not the victim.
The acts of those men, which they don’t seem to deny, were disgusting.
They should be eternally ashamed, and shunned by all right-thinking people henceforward.
Unpopular view, but one holds that it’s more important to avoid convicting innocent persons than to create special classes of criminal law complainants who receive special treatment denied to others.

Practical reality though is that even though they’re not supposed to, triers wonder about an accused who doesn’t testify to an honest belief in consent.
