Except that no pope can be woke given the Church's teachings on sex, gender, and sexuality.

I love that Leo is a repudiation of Trump, but he's to the right of most Western Catholics (see abortion & gay rights), except on immigration & charity. (Love that he's spoken up for Ukraine and may visit.)
