Eh. Rubio was pretty staunchly in favor of Ukraine as a Senator. It was a dumb vote but he admitted he was wrong and it wouldn't have mattered anyway. This is trivial compared to everything going on.

Yeah I don't really know what people want at this point. Like a clear majority of Americans, including many Democrats, were willing to give even Trump the benefit of the doubt, let alone Rubio who was considered a balance against the pro Russians in his orbit.

Sorry, what should Chris have said? Rubio has been very pro-Ukraine since the start of the war. He is pretty much the only Cabinet pick who is remotely even close to being qualified. There's a lot Dems are doing wrong right now, but let's not devalue an honest admittance of wrongdoing.

All the Republicans falling in line behind Trump was the worst case scenario. The Dems should know this and need to either get this Republicans on board quickly (see the town halls where the public isn’t on board w this) or recognize the enemies to freedom they have become.

Rubio has been in the Senate for ages, Senators knew him personally, they probably thought he'd be their guy, a team player, a moderating influence (like the Senate is supposed to be.)
