Too many key players have simply not delivered.

Haaland in particular when he doesn't get the service is a waste of time.

Grealish, Gundogan and De Bruyne look flat and disjointed.

They are (whisper it) like United defensively atm.

The derby on Sunday is monumental now.

Tixi leaving might have had a bigger effect on Pep than you think. Recruitment has not been good enough last two seasons. Unlike City to get it so wrong, Their injuries have played a part but take out Haaland I struggle to see a player who scores ten goals!! Too many not delivering!

This will certainly be one of the biggest challenges of his career. Everyone is underperforming and demoralised. I still think he will turn it around though. But he will need to make some tough and risky decisions.

It is a reminder that nothing lasts. No matter how effectively and long a team dominates at some point it will end. I am a Liverpool supporter (since the mid 70s) and while you hope a good run of form and results will persist, it is just putting off the inevitable decline

The trouble is that his Midas touch has meant his hasn’t needed to built personal resilience. The core of his identity will be that he’s the current highest rated manager in the world.

If he’s not that, who even is he?

If he recovers from this, I’ll genuinely be impressed.

It will be impressive if he can bounce back from this without the need to spend hundreds of millions to improve.

If they can find form and finish the season strongly then I’ll be very impressed as can’t see how they turn it around just now.

He’ll undoubtedly get as much time as he needs by the club but I wonder if he wants to stick around for the medium term.

I know he signed a new deal but I think he’ll walk away at season end.
