The Vatican defrocked Frank Pavone for "blasphemous" social media posts and disobedience of his bishop on November 9, 2022. The defrocking mandated that Pavone no longer present himself as a priest, although he has continued to do so. He is currently the “darling” of radical right wing Catholics.

Pavone had also been involved in other controversies, including financial scrutiny of Priests for Life and a 2016 livestream in which he placed an unclothed, aborted fetus onto an altar.

Pavone would love to see a schism in the Catholic Church, especially in America, so it reflected Trump MAGA Republican values and politics. In contrast, I’m strongly aligned with Pope Francis and the Vatican.

That is so prevalent, along with other Trump/MAGA/Republican organizational partnering that I can no longer attend Mass. I’m forced to watch Vatican Masses when they’re available. These despicable people have not only taken our country, they’ve taken over the Catholic Church in America.

I stopped going to Mass too and watch a live Mass in another country when they are available. In the meantime, I will watch a live Mass at St. Paul the Apostle’s Church in NYC - very welcoming and contemporary music

God willing, Francis will be with us for a long time to come. He has shaped the Curia during his papacy so that when the Lord calls him home, his handpicked cardinals will listen to the Holy Spirit and choose some who preaches God’s love.
