Your way of using a synth to build almost an entire track is one of the coolest fucking things I've ever seen and made me wanna get a hardware sampler.

Just the fact that I describe what I make as “beats” drives so many people on YouTube up a wall. They want to fill me in on their guitar-forward endeavors and how it’s more genuine that what I could ever do. You can’t say anything back to them.

It's so daft. Making music on a guitar is just so different to making music with a hardware sampler and that's different to working on a DAW. The real cool thing is figuring out how ideas from one can inform the others - being a purist to some authentic ideal is just pointless.
