That would be funny (to be intrinsically biased against Ireland) wouldn't it?
My guess would be that performance across the whole team is good and that there are lots of 2nds and 3rds whereas other teams have standouts and are not high across all - something I said when posting last week.
Well yeah, maybe it is. Obviously it won’t be saying deduct ratings from Ireland only.
Like Liverpool this season when they take the lead, Ireland are stupidly good at controlling the game. Don’t need to create game winning attacking actions etc.
No reason to suspect that it is biased against a specific team. This uses both attacking and defending metrics. Lots of Ireland players have high ratings.
thats a fair point too ,maybe i feeling a picked on too had just had a debate with a Scot trying to make out the only reason we keep beating them is that the refs give us everything although in fairness on Sunday we did get most of the 50/50s
i thought Robbie Henshaw did get away with one but thought the Van der Merwe decision was correct it was beyond cynical although i dont think Nash was getting to the ball so no penalty try is fair- there is a perception we get a lot off Refs but is that because we are generally on top in games

Remind me a bit of Floyd Mayweather, not particularly exciting, never in any danger of losing.
That’s more of a compliment than it probably reads.
