The great thing about STEM Club is it sat outside of the core school hours and therefore the expectation to cover/learn certain things and we could genuinely explore personal interests 🤩

That does seem to look like it's taking agency/blame away from HS teachers and that's not OK. We need to be responsible as well.

Absolutely agree - everyone has a role to play but the early years define children’s belief about themselves as learners & if we don’t get it right then, HS Ts will be fighting an uphill battle. In HS there’s so much more pressure to teach content too but in PS that same pressure isn’t there
