I always find it fascinating when I read cards for someone and they go “omg so I was right about [proceeds to say the exact opposite of whatever I said]”

I don’t usually correct them because they obviously can’t hear it yet. But it’s fascinating

yes, I find that sometimes people do not really want to hear what the cards are truly saying, but what they want to happen. It can be frustrating, so need to take a breath, realize the querent does have free will and decide what they want to do even when the advice is the opposite to what they want.

Or they agree with your interpretation, have a long convo with you about what they'll do with the info, then go out and do the exact opposite, and when the shit hits the fan, wail "I don't know why this is happening!!" on SM. Not that I've ever witnessed this, nope. 🙄

I have had the universe screaming at me through the cards. My head gets it but my heart says, nah screw that. So I get where they are coming from. The behavior we know is easier to hold onto. It’s so much harder to move towards something unknown even if positive.

I don't read much anymore because I deserve to be paid for the years I dedicated, and someone more "mystical" will do it for free. Disenfranchised, to say the least.

I try not to let it get under my skin. I convey the message the cards show me, but it’s up to the querent to decide what to do with that message. It just always surprises me a little bit, because why are you asking questions you don’t want to hear the answers to?

Same. Not much you can do as the messenger other than convey the message. One of my friends is at least self-aware enough to know the cards are right but she just doesn't want to hear it 😂
