I've been using a QWERTY keyboard for well nigh on 300000 years and I still can't hit the correct numbers using the number strip above the keyboard. Ten key for life, I guess.

You know. I think I agree. I am 6'6" but my hands are relatively small (cannot palm a basketball as much as so many people in my life desperately wanted me to be able) and I think this may be my issue. 6 is just toooo far.
I'm 5'7" and I literally wear child-sized gloves, lol. Thinking about this problem gave me an idea just now! I want to find a way to put braille on my number keys. I'm not vision impaired, but that could provide a simple way to identify where my fingers are by feel instead of having to look down.
I learned on a manual typewriter. I could type pretty fast on that thing. Then electric typewriters came out and I’ve been jamming typewriter keys and totally fucking up computer typing ever since.
Hahaaaa… that is quite literally true! I’ve taken out a couple computer keyboards (wireless & wired) when they tripped the anger switch a bit too frequently. 😳 The wired one was real fun using as a flail. 😁
Well, in the world of gaming laptops, you are going to have a llano cooling pad at a minimum, which adds those ports. That said, I had a freakish few weeks before I identified the "always on" port as the reason my cooling pad seemed possessed. 😂

I just retired from my job after 11 years at my last employer. When I returned my equipment, my manager asked "how old is this keyboard and mouse?"
Me "dunno, they were used when I got them on day one. Still works so no need to replace"
ALL of the letters were worn off haha
And I was taught to type by nuns. I can actually hit the numbers, I choose not to. 😜
🤣
Keyboards in your life have suffered immeasurably.
Yeah, I’m working on it...
Two million years later I can find these numbers in my sleep.
Unfortunately I can never find any other key, which gives me a really niche skill set I’m still to fully realise.
🤣🤘
I had to look up ZX Spectrum micro computer
