Best place to see a rat in the wild: NYC. The rumors that they're everywhere aren't quite true, but in a week of walking around I saw 3 individuals and a whole colony in a park, so they're definitely there.

Theres one that lives in my wood pile and sometime when I'm walking between buildings they peer out at me.

And sometimes late at night I scare the shit out of them when they're raiding the bird feeder.

Really? They are all over the place. I have seen… probably hundreds because I have seen them get into animal feed.

Once I sold like 20 to a pet store because they had feed so well they went docile, likely born in an old barn full of oats.
