I don't know why but I've been finding comfort in apocalypse radio audio dramas lately. Fictional cataclysmic events (natural, war, aliens, disease, etc.) told from the perspective of a DJ broadcasting to whoever is left. It's survival without the rose-colored glasses but still, they survive.
