Palestine, "Manifest Destiny" campaigns, Vietnam and Korea, the burning of Black communities, the Philippines, US backed massacres and genocides across South America, European colonialism in Africa, the War on Terror, etc - all of these occurred under "American Democracy" since 1776

If the United States opposed genocide, none of those periods in history would've occurred. But they did. Because there's something about this "American Democracy" that compels the organized mass killing and displacement of others (Nationalism, Imperialism, Capitalism, and so on)

The point is that nobody has stopped to say "America is Fascist now" when those events occurred. Nobody bothers to look back and say "America is Fascist because these occurred" either. It's all viewed through a lens of "The evolution of Democracy" "mistakes that were made" and so on. Never nullified
