Yeah, that's just fascism. Too many people think that the lack of armbands or having good rhetoric means it's not, but fascism comes in many forms, even within a single nation or culture. Italy and Germany had very different kinds a century ago, as did Spain through the 1970s. Ours will be worse.

I bloody loved that series! The only "what if the Nazis had won" series that emphasised the connections and similarities rather than trying to pretend the Nazis were totally alien to Western culture. Brilliant writing
