The waitlist is over 2 years. Two years is inadequate and egregious enough that it forces women to elect for private surgery out of province. Can’t get the surgery IN your own province, THAT is the illegal part.

For clarification: it’s illegal to get private surgery in an AB clinic if you reside in AB. You’re welcome to pay to get the same surgery privately in BC though - that’s fine.
