I aint saying anything but when the majority of working compensation goes to living expenses, charging anything at all could be seen at prohibitively expensive. As a result, the free market of, say, file distribution, behaving in this way is not unreasonable, nor unexpected.
I occasionally partake in file sharing myself lol. I tend to hoard pdfs of ttrpg source books and supplements lmao, so if anyone has a shared interest in those things? I WILL send them everything I have related to it haha (if they ask, of course)
