I find visiting certain places frequently or having a "spot" you go to every week or so helps increase the chances, but I too just like to be at home, sooooooo

Aye, I feel that. Self-inflicted woes of isolating yourself from social stuff and it just feels impossible to bring yourself back out to do something as simple as connect with anybody.

For me, growing up in a small town there's not many opportunities to meet people to connect with besides friends of friends let alone date.

3rd places, I feel like the rise of loneliness isnt due to the rise of internet but the lack of access and to 3rd places either the bad car centric and just closing down of public places I'm seeing more often these days.
