It just banned journalist @lukelebrun.ca.
His crime? Asking why his scoop on an anti-LGBTQ activist ambushing Trudeau in B.C. was removed.
He’s not the first to notice something seriously fishy over there.

They only relented when so many users kept reposting the vid. But not before they tried to cover their tracks by deleting all the comments

I was banned from r/cats on Reddit!
Reddit, and all other social media, including. Bluesky, ARE NOT places where you can expect free speech. I'll point you to the "block" and "mute" functions as evidence of my point.
A moderator of a forum i subscribed to, r/cats, blatantly and repeatedly posted VERY LOUD posts regarding new policy, violating the forums rules re: non-cat related posts.
& who are those financial backers connected to?
I guess they live by, "a ban a day, ..."
So many people in BC need to fall into wood chippers these days...

Reddit has no interest in any of that otherwise they would have to hire 40million people to look into all such cases .. Reddit only cares in engagement and adverts .. a.k.a Rage Farming makes money
Obvious political strategy to take over online discussion.
I spent much of my online life on forums in the 2000’s. I know what a cesspool they turn into.
But it seems like sabatoa from Alberta was tired of people asking that.
