At this point if you think you can trust ANYONE on the right who has political power you are not behaving rationally.

You may not be able to trust all left politicians either, but I believe they want to share power with the people rather than dominate the people.

I try not to get worked up by things like this, but a lack of acknowledgement by Carney makes me fear that Trans and Gender Nonconforming people are not seen as important enough to protect.

I am aware and that gives me hope. However, I too have a father and while he "loves" me he does not support trans people. Unfortunately, sometimes people can compartmentalize these things.

For candidates, Yasir Naqvi (LIB) and Joel Harden (NDP) showed up at the trans day of visibility rally in Ottawa, where they both shouted “go vote homo!”.
