CLASSIC: DAIQUIRI
The Daiquiri is the quintessential rum sour and dates from the early 1900s. Rum goes particularly well with lime juice, but a combination of lemon and lime works well.
Daiquiris are normally made with simple syrup but David Embury recommends the almond flavoured orgeat syrup. Use grenadine (pomegranate syrup) for a Pink Daiquiri.
