The younglings who have jobs in article writing did not have effective history class in their public schools. They are doomed to repeat history now. Not enough historians on 'the tiktoks' I guess. True story: a few years ago, I was being interviewed by a reporter for the New York Times. I mentioned the history of eviction statutes and how they tied into Jim Crow.
The reporter asked "what's Jim Crow?"
When I explained, the reporter didn't believe me and said the US wouldn't do that.
