I think we overlapped. I started later and stayed further into the decline (indeed onto my speccy for faaaar too long), and likewise, held the amiga after the deathnell had sounded.

Those last few years were depressing, I remember having hope but also feeling resigned to having to go pc

My biggest fear was losing all the productivity. Like AF promoted very well, I did loads on my amiga. Art, coding, games, 3d rendering, all sorts. It took me years to get that all back on the PC as the software wasn't as available on coverdisks etc like it was on the miggy.

Oooh sounds interesting. I was on the other side with the ST and ST Format (which referred to the competition as "the games machine Amiga" but I did enjoy reading my friend's Amiga Format magazines 😀

Around 18:27 I think you may have inadvertently said "March 1993" instead of March 1992 as at 18:56:
"The next generation of Amiga is past due"
yet Amiga 1200 & 4000 release date was October 21, 1992 & I got an Amiga 1200 for Christmas 1992.
I'll let you off tho, the rest of the video is EXCELLENT!

I didn't know ST/Amiga Format started off together, even though I collected ST Format for years after receiving my first one with my STfm. I think the interest and numbers are definitely there for a new edition of Amiga and possibly ST Format, even if just quarterly. Great video, as always 👍
