I didn't get to go to college beyond vocational school, even though I wanted to, bc of $. I've learned most of the history I know from an actual full set of Encyclopædia Britannica from the 1980s, Crash Course and other history videos on YouTube, and People's History. 🙂

And yes, critical race theory is just one version of the concept. I first learned about the crits in law school. Essentially, they ask "what would this look like if seen through the eyes of [e.g, a black person - for race] [a woman - for feminist] [and so on for the other critical theories].

As I'm watching these, I note they do not have much in the way of alternate perspectives. Not much critical theory presented, if any at all. I'll look for some critical resources, too. If you know of any, please share.
