12) The Pit
This is one of the coolest Pokémon rom hacks I’ve ever seen. It’s a Pokémon Roguelike, but for me personally, is more interesting than Emerald Rogue.
I played on despair mode, and it really tested my Pokémon knowledge. I loved it! Here’s my winning squad

The QOL improvements go a long way here. I did the bare minimum in the original because I just didn’t understand much about the game. I liked it, but this time around I loved it!
And the epilogue stuff was great, won’t get into specifics though.
This is a very good game and I can see why people adore it. However, it’s not my style of platformer.
It will randomly throw in super precise challenges amongst what is a usually forgiving game, leading to some frustrating moments.
Beautiful pixel art and loved the diverse themes!
If you have even a small interest in turn based RPGs, especially those with action commands (like M&L/ Paper Mario) PLAY THIS
Fantastic story and characters, paced brilliantly, and a super satisfying combat system. I have small nitpicks but I overall loved the game!
Never actually finished this version back in the day! After 100% completing it, I feel this is the better version (though not every change is for the better).
This will always be such a unique classic, and one I’m happy to have on 3DS!
Another 3DS remake I never got around to! Star Fox 64 is a classic, and one of my favourite N64 games. But I think the 3DS version is better! The Gyro aiming feels essential, and the 3D works great for a game like this!
Did 2 runs, and got the true ending on the second one.
I mean, I guess I rolled credits but the fun is just starting!! My first few hours with the game are very positive, and I’m sure this will be something I’ll be playing obsessively over the next few weeks, to say nothing of the Switch 2’s entire life!
