Such a great live band. Saw them open for Tom Petty in Denver and a couple other times but that show with Tom was magic. I’ll never see them again, that show was too good.
When I worked at Sydney’s State Theatre (years ago), we did 3 nights of Eddie Vedder & friends (a Pearl Jam sideshow). Each night we broke the record bar take, all good drinkers, no one thrown out, no one vomited, just a well behaved mature rock & roll crowd. A pleasure to serve. Fantastic concert.
I’ve never been a big fan of PJ but have always admired Eddie Vedder for holding his shit together and not selling out like so many of his peers with that level of success. He seems like a good person and actually I’d love to go see them play.

That rocked. I've always been a semi-Pearl Jam sceptic on account of their occasional Triple-M-ness and my stubborn metalheadedness, but that ruled. Pure connection through music. Healing. McCready shredded. Vedder wailed. Cameron thumped. I've been to a thousand gigs and that was right up there 🙏

Glad you had a great time, though.
