Oh… I’ve had shingles… I am not hesitating in the least. I planned the timing for # 2 with the anticipated shit kicking in mind. Way better than getting shingles…. Again.

When I went in for my second dose, the nurse said “oh, you came back!” I was like “people don’t come back?!” And I guess lots of people don’t because the first dose leaves many people so miserable.

For me, first Shingles vaccine shot was a doozy but the second was no big deal. Both are superior to the mild case of shingles I had a decade ago.

Yeah the shingles vaccine can be a lot.
Also much better than being hospitalized for having shingles on your face, which happened to my friend.
