A farm worker sent us this pic from where they are harvesting carrots in Santa Maria. It's hard difficult work. We're on our knees most of the time on the cold damp soil. In addition, I don't live near the field and I have to drive an hour to work. #WeFeedYou

The US has historically paid about half of what other OECD countries pay for food. Farmworkers and family farms suffer.
We didn't eat grapes for years.
When I was a young teen in southern Ontario Canada, this was the only work I could get in late summer. A couple years later I got a job on a tobacco farm. Females had to work at the sewing machine. We were not allowed in the fields. Farm workers earn their money.
It will make some of the people who voted for this nightmare think twice
