I’m the same! It’s funny because as a reader I’m with you but when I write I look forward to folks who comment as I update. I love fics over 5k because I’m greedy haha

yesss, as a reader I've been burned (still have notifs on for fics last updated in 2017), but as a writer I loved the interactions with everyone
i do still go for in progress fics tho, i will happily comment on every update for months 👀
