Not making this a big roundabout is a very interesting move. Having it two way going around seems like will increase traffic and be more of a nuisance. Hope I’m wrong.

Kind of. It had stop lights which doesn’t make it a true roundabout but it was for sure dangerous. Especially riding a bike

According to their traffic modeling, this design caused less overall delay because the majority of the traffic travels between Logan Boulevard and Kedzie like such.

I would just think having free flowing traffic with multiple entry/exits points would cause less delay especially with the new kedzie interchange, but guess we will see. I am happy this will help with bike lane traffic

What really made my head turn as a went through here on the bus yesterday was how far the curb was from the previous curb, it really shows how much space is being reclaimed for active transportation through this amalgamation of intersections.
