I know! Very very late to party. But now my main TV is fine and not blacking out and I feel it’s unnecessary to upgrade vs other needed home purchases. Ack. Might endure my fine Samsung 4K non OLED from 2016 a bit longer.
Got my last one in 2016. Don’t really want to upgrade. Random micro blackouts occasionally. Eyeing 65 LG C4 OLED and tilting bracket for our long-layout room
I’ve been told it’s really good, but never used it. Was encouraged to go with this year’s model C4 because brighter? Now I’m not even sure I’m getting a new TV since my old one is now fine after replacing Apple TV box
Fair enough, and interesting fix. Mine is solid, but just pixels are starting to go. I’m sure any upgrade I jump on will be night and day, just want to be smart if I am gonna spend the money. We’ll see how weak I get.
My HD Plasma from 2011 is still hanging in there (fingers crossed) but I absolutely will replace it with an OLED once it finally goes. Prices have been steadily dropping! Want to try the picture frame thing where it displays art as a screensaver.
I upgraded my Apple TV, replaced HDMI cable, picked a new port on the TV. Seems like these have solved the micro blackouts (for now at least). I am excited to go OLED, but in my life displays already come in many forms
My purchase anxiety stresses are always persistent and ongoing. I feel like I’d love a new TV, but if this one is now working fine, I’m fine. Also I barely get to use the main family TV
Lower cost Vision (or similar quality HMD/XR) with more ways to connect other devices would solve my problems sort of. What if it could link to game consoles etc like a TV
