I lost several friends from Pawhuska to the war in Vietnam. I lost more friends to the after effects of the war in Vietnam. Agent Orange, alcoholism, drug dependency.

Dad did 4 tours in Vietnam and grew up not far from NYC, in a little town called Hawthorne. He knew what Fred Sr was like but gave Donald the benefit of the doubt until he read "The Art of the Deal." After reading it one time, he told me to get the grill out, light some charcoal, and burn the book.
Before anyone asks, the coals didn't go to waste. It was late enough in the afternoon that Dad talked me through grilling steaks for dinner when Mom got home from work.
Dad is probably barrel rolling in his grave right now. He didn't do those 4 tours and spend 15 years in the Marine Corps for this country to turn out this way.
