Oh, I haven’t even talked about my endometriosis. The pain of that has been so bad sometimes that I passed out. Thank you for sharing your stories. Suffering in silence, which is what I was taught to do (be a good girl, don’t overreact or make a fuss) is, I have found, highly overrated.

Many of my friends who had miscarriages, pre-eclampsia, C-sections made a point of sharing, BECAUSE there is so much silence and lack of knowledge around these issues. And I chose to be childfree but I shared about the nightmare of my endometriosis. EVERYONE needs to know these things.

For me, after the surgery, a severe, debilitating scoliosis I had developed in my low back DISAPPEARED. But there was nothing wrong with me. 🤬
The irony is it took a male OB to say “yeah this is no way to live, let’s fix it.”
