That got me thinking of the time that I was alerted to a GHO in my friends yard. I saw it at the top of this tree. I was about to step inside to get my camera when it flew away. Then I saw this lovely lady pop up from the same spot. The noises I hear were apparently sex noises. She looks proud.

It was a night I will remember for a long time. The male apparently made a circle around the house and perched on the gazebo about 40 ft from me. When it took off, he flew right over my head maybe 10ft above my head and I didn't hear anything.
