Yeah, exactly.

Assuming people are accessing fonts in a legal and correct manner.

My husband actually works for a font foundry. He has lots of thoughts on this, and if people accessing fonts from sites like DaFont are akin to using AI for art.

Ok, now I'm really curious.

Mostly because my knowledge regarding fonts lies more on the copyright side, less on the creative.

How would it be similar to AI?

Like, assuming they're downloading legal use fonts and paying commercial use fees to the font creator, I mean.
