I, too, wanted more ACTUAL characters, but they dug so deep into the beastiary I don't really mind. Like, Cataquack is in there.
If they get costumes, I'll be especially happy. It will help me imagine the timeline where Paper Mario didn't fall off a cliff after TTYD.

Like, Peach has her festival kimono from Odyssey Bowser Kingdom. Imagine Shy Guy and/or Bandit got something similar, wearing a second mask on the side of their head as a visual joke.
