He’s waaaay more of a kitten than we were expecting, which is a lot of work an we’ve had to reconfigure a lot of our home to keep him from destroying precious things and eating mounds of plastic.

He’s so playful and full of energy. It was striking just how totally unlike Gori he is. I think Tubbs is more of a cat - Gori was something like a bear cub or a retiree.

He’s so Not A Replacement that it’s honestly made me cry a few times. I thought another cat may at least awkwardly occupy the Gori-shaped hole, only to realize that no - that’s gonna be there forever. But it would be unfair to another cat to expect that.

But anyway. We have love to give and Tubbs wound up in the crosshairs. He doesn’t have a tail, he stinks and farts all the time, and was returned by his first adoptive family for aggressive behaviour. He’s gonna have to put up with us.
