Well, i've been working in IT since 30 years and playing around with AI fundamentals.. but not at this scale. It is however quite obvious what Musk is trying to do. The problematic aspect is to have to accept that it is borderline conspirational, in between asset stripping and 'network states'.
Yes, it's obvious but no one seems to be addressing this aspect of things! People are laughing at the latest stupid request of government workers for "five things you did last week" without understanding that this could be a training exercise for his AI.
And 4. H5N1... of course one doesn't want to be overly "boy who cried Wolf" panicky, but the information trickling through on how it is being dealt with is really disconcerting... dairy cows, ducks, pigs, and now mice. With a case fatality rate in humans nearing 50%, immediate eradication is key.
I don't get it, maybe being an ocean away offers a bird's eye view. But, where is the news on:
1. Carlos Slim cancelled a $7B StarLink order 5 minutes after insulting Tweets?
2. raising the US debt ceiling with $4T and tax cuts worth $4.5T?
3. Warren Buffet's comments about the dollar's fragility?
I was wondering #1 too except when I first saw the news today a lot of the reporting was in Spanish and also a few outlets noted he “quietly” broke the contract. So I think it’s just breaking now.
Comments
1. Carlos Slim cancelled a $7B StarLink order 5 minutes after insulting Tweets?
2. raising the US debt ceiling with $4T and tax cuts worth $4.5T?
3. Warren Buffet's comments about the dollar's fragility?
And it’s very satisfying.
